Bereavement Booths

Due to a very generous legacy from Mr Roy Booth from Lincolnshire, EMAST is pleased to be able to facilitate Bereavement Support Groups across the East Midlands which will be named Bereavement Booths, in recognition of Mr Booth’s support. We are really happy to be able to offer a monthly Bereavement Booth in 3 venues across the East Midlands.

These groups acknowledge that everyone’s experience of losing a loved one is different and each journey will be unique. Within these groups they can find a safe place to give and receive support and talk about their own experiences. We all need a support system to help us as we move through our grief journey. Support from those who have gone through a similar experience, a chance to talk, ask questions and share stories can be a valuable resource for healing.

Everybody is welcome to attend these groups whether you are male, female, newly bereaved or bereaved several years ago. The connection between everybody is bereavement through an asbestos related disease.

Come along and meet others on a similar journey. Everybody’s grief journey is unique to them but others on their own journey will understand and ‘get it’. We look forward to seeing some of you at these meetings. If you are nervous about attending for the first time please do get in touch for a chat first, or bring a friend along for support! Please contact us to confirm your attendance or for more information.
